Kathairos to deploy 1,000 methane elimination systems in Alberta

Calgary-based Kathairos Solutions is about to start bringing the first of 1,000 methane elimination systems online at remote well sites across Alberta, which it states will remove an estimated 141,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e) emissions annually.

DEEP Earth Energy is borrowing techniques and knowledge from the oil and gas sector to build Canada’s first commercial geothermal plant in southeast Saskatchewan – and replace coal-based electricity with a clean energy source.
