Electra inks cobalt supply deal to meet refinery capacity

Electra Battery Materials Corporation (ELBM-X) has announced it signed a three-year supply agreement with Luxembourg miner Eurasian Resources Group that will provide the cobalt needed to meet annual capacity for its Temiskaming Shores, Ont. refinery.

Plans to convert a former paper mill in northern Ontario into a lithium refinery have been finalized between Canadian companies Rock Tech Lithium Inc. (RCK-X) and BMI Group after a search for sites across North America.
