Innergex Renewable Energy Inc. (INE-T) and the Mi'gmawei Mawiomi Business Corporation (MMBC) have closed financing for the construction and operation of a 102-megawatt wind project in Quebec.

Hydro-Quebec aims to add 3,000 MW of solar to grid by 2035

In an effort to diversify its electric power mix, Hydro-Quebec is asking producers to build solar power facilities. The provincial utility wants to develop 3,000 megawatts (MW) of solar energy by encouraging new farms to be built by 2035.
